Telephias effort is interesting, but they forgot an important differenciator between the European and the American market - the price. For instance, the average mobile consumer in America spends US$54 per month on wireless voice and data services, that same consumer would pay approximately US$125 for the same services in the European Union.

Ovum found that overall the use of mobile services for voice is 3 times higher in the US and 10 times as many had access to high speed data services at the end of 2004. Now if you think Europe was ahead of mobile services and network reliability vs. advancement comparing to Europe, its a good time to wake up.

Why do you say that? Was that just to bait me into responding? Alternatively, an invitation into a good intellectual debate? I would prefer the latter ;-)
I see you are applying the tactic of the shock headline. Clarify with your comments pls.
Interesting blog, I too am a techie (although the blog you visited will give you no clue) but I am almost strictly a web designer, so I can't really comment much on mobile tech.
