Ohlala, vive le replacement - Nokia fashion designs

In sync the announcement of quarter results, here is a good (needed) facelift – available to the public sometime in 06Q1 at price raging from 200 to 500 Euros (before operator subsidies and VAT).

The Nokia 7380 is the facelift for the innovative 7280 – 114x30x20mm and 80 grams. It includes Bluetooth (as before), a 104x208 pixel reflective display, and the rotator/selector device. The camera has 2 mega pixel and includes flash, which makes from the Nokia 7380 a sleek, compact camera phone. It includes an inbuilt MP3 player, but no expandable memory. As in the past, if you are a text enthusiast, this is not a phone for you thanks to the keyless dialing features. Users should expect a talk time around 3 hours and up to 10 days in standby.

My favorite is the 7370, remarkable in various aspects – for example, the flip/rotating feature (very popular in Asia markets). This phone includes a 1.3 mega pixel camera, 240x320 pixel display in 262,000 colors (QVGA!) – We see these features in smart phones, so it looks very promising. The 7370 is Bluetooth enabled, comes with an FM radio and stereo speakers. It has 104 grams of weight and measures 88x43x23mm. Talk time is around 3.5 hours with up to 10 days standby. This mobile phone offers two different color design schemes, coffee brown and warm amber. The end user can expect a price raging the 300 Euros.

The 7360 is a low-end fashion phone in two alternative color schemes: coffee brown and warm amber. The 7360 is the facelift of the ugly Nokia 7260, now with a substantially improved design. The feature list is rather basic: 128x160 pixel display, VGA resolution camera, FM radio, web browser, email client, push-to-talk, and voice activated UI and themes. The extra is actually only the velvet bag that it comes with it. This handset weights 92 grams and has 105x45x18mm in size. Users can expect battery to stand around 4 hours in talk time and up to 14 days in standby mode. The 7360 supports MP3 ring tones, but does not come with a MP3 player. It does not come with Bluetooth either. Price before subsidy and taxes, expected to range 200 Euros. The 7360 is a good value (for expected price) phone - a strong candidate for the 2006 best sellers.

  • Keyless dial
  • 2-megapixel camera, 4x zoom
  • Enhanced Voice Commands
  • MP3 player

7370 features include:

  • 1.3 megapixel camera, 8x zoom
  • 2-inch QVGA color screen (320 x 240 pixels)

7360 features include:
