Being corporate users a very lucrative segment, until now left alone to RIMs Blackberry devices, Nokia plans to expand into this highly profitable market shaping the way for a more competitive market.
The new E-Series models will be available for purchase until March 2006 and will cost between $420 and $540 (350-540 euros), exclusive of operator subsidies and VAT.
E-Series supports 2G and 3G service network and includes WLan and Bluetooth.
The E60 offers a conference call solution and VoIP applications. It has a color screen, email client, and PIM functionality. The E61 offers a complete keypad and the user can send and receive e-mails at the same time he/she is on a phone call.
